It turns out that Schneier’s Cryptography Classics Library was a neat collection of books instead of one big über brick.

The collection consists of the following books:

  • Applied Cryptography
  • Secrets and Lies: Digital Security in a Networked World
  • Practical Cryptography

I now realize that if I had noticed the *’s in the product description at Amazon when I placed the order this would be quite obvious.

I’ve just started reading the Applied Cryptography book, and so far so good.

The original plan was to buy two or three books from Akademika (a Norwegian online book store), but after a tips from Mats I took the time to check out amazon. Not only did Amazon have way more books than Akademia, but they were so much cheaper too! At Akademika the three books I had in mind cost about 1500 NOK, at Amazon I got 8 books for the same price!
